As you know, I find it extremely important to have some time away every now and then just with my girlfriends.. and the last time we had a “mumcation” was back in November, 2023. Ooh, that’s a good 6 months ago.. perhaps it’s time I plan our next one lol but I digress…

The mumcation actually started with me staying at Mantra on Jolimont on the 10th of Nov, on the night of the Fridayz Live concert. I have not missed a single Fridayz Live concert since RnB Fridays Live concert started back in 2016.. so this was my 6th concert, hehe. I decided to stay at Mantra on Jolimont because it was literally 8 mins walk from the stadium, you can see the stadium from my balcony!

Then, the next day I met up with my girlfriends and we stayed at Tyrian Serviced Apartments in Fitzroy. The location was great, because we got a good deal on a spacious 2-bedroom apartment and were walking distance from all the shops and restaurants. We had lunch at D’Penyetz Carlton, dinner at Rice Paper Scissors and yumcha brunch at East Imperial (Carlton) the next day. I also went for a little trip to Melbourne Central to drop the girls off at the train station and do some shopping, and went for a stroll at Queen Vic Market.
