I wanted to dedicate a post specifically to cover some of the activities and places we have visited, especially during school holidays. Thanks to the amazing location of our home, just 20 mins away from the 12 Apostles and a wonderful mix of serene countryside and picturesque beach vibes… our little farm home has been very popular amongst friends and family to come and visit, and especially stay with us during the school holidays. Here’s a quick look at what we get up to in the past 12 months since we’ve moved to this wonderful region of The Great Ocean Road, Victoria.

August, 2023 – Otway Fly Treetop Adventures

September, 2023 (Part One) – Cooriemungle, Port Campbell, Bay of Islands Coastal Park

September, 2023 (Part Two) – Cooriemungle, Port Campbell, Lake Colac, Colac Botanic Gardens

September, 2023 (Part Three) – Cooriemungle, Sow & Piglet Brewery, Port Campbell Hotel

Late October, early November (Melbourne Cup Long Weekend), 2023. It was warm enough to finally swim at the beach and go fishing. Port Campbell.

January, 2024 – My dad came and stayed with us for two weeks from Malaysia. We picked strawberries at Berry World Timboon, fishing at Port Campbell, visited the 12 Apostles, cow milking at Apostle Whey Cheese, visited the alpacas and had delicious hot chocolate at Gorge Chocolates.. just to name a few! Mostly we chilled and spent time at home.

February, 2024 – Chinese New Year in Cooriemungle, hotpot, dimsum, whisky tasting at Timboon Distillery.

April, 2024 – Childer’s Cove and Hopkins Falls
