"Pak Loh Bak" Braised Pork Belly Recipe

OK so I have been very slack lately and haven’t blogged AT ALL, so let me compensate by posting this recipe for “Pak Loh Bak” which is essentially a fragrant Chinese Braised Pork dish which can also be used to cook Braised Duck. Technically, this is not even my recipe, my dad only just emailed this to me today haha. But I’m so happy with how it turned out, I wanted to make sure I don’t lose the recipe and also a few people have asked me to share the recipe already… so OK lah. Here it is! Whole Suckling Pig Recipe

Ever since I’ve had a Whole Suckling Pig at The Provincial, I’ve always had this ambition to cook a whole pig at home… and last weekend my wish came true!! Coming up in July, we’re expecting 40 people mostly family and close friends at our house for lunch after our son Micah’s Baptism to celebrate the occasion. Now that we have the BBQ and decking all set up, I thought what better way to … Continue reading Roasting Pork on the Rotisserie

Epic Meal Time Inspired Feast

Have you seen the Epic Meal Time YouTube Channel? I’ve only been introduced to this by one of hubby’s friends recently – when a bunch of guys came over to help hubby with some work in our backyard, they specifically asked if I could prepare an “Epic Meal Time” dinner feast for them once they’ve finished working hard. I had no idea what he was talking about, but I said “ok” anyway. He gave me two clues “meat” and “quantity”.. I still went “OK” without doing my research on the internet, lol. So, just based on what I was told … Continue reading Epic Meal Time Inspired Feast
