First of all, I feel like I must apologize for the quality of my photos in this post. The lighting at MPD is really dim, and I just wasn’t able to take decent photos at all. Even with editing, by the time you add the fact that I was too tipsy to take decent photos that night.. I’ll just say maybe it’s best if you check out the photos posted on MPD Steak Kitchen’s Instagram Page. Their professionally photographed pictures should do their food justice. Just saying!

I recently dined at MPD as part of winning an Instagram competition and scoring myself a $100 voucher to spend there, but also to enjoy a Girls Night with my two girlfriends. We all ended up doing the Tasting Menu, and two bottles of red wine later.. we found ourselves walking home in heels. It was a fun night 🙂
MPD has always been consistent with the quality of their food. They do good food really well, and the dishes present themselves beautifully. The food at MPD is exquisite and classy, but not over the top “diva” if that makes sense. You still find a level of comfort food in their beautifully cooked steaks, their wholesome gnocchi, or classic popcorn chicken or croquettes. It’s a really nice balance, so you find MPD somewhere in between true fine dining and traditional family friendly meals. I’d like to actually go back again real soon, to order a few dishes off the a la carte menu which I really want to try. I’ve always wanted to go all out and try the Surf and Turf, and share it with a few people. Or the Beef Wellington. Or the Charcuterie Board. So many delicious options, and they keep making me want to go back for more!
