June 12, 2022 – Alpha Weekend / Mumcation. We stayed at this cosy little boutique hotel in St Kilda East, watched 5 Alpha course videos, soaked in the warm indoor pool/spa in the middle of winter, and ate lots of snacks and ordered in for dinner. Spoiler Alert: After doing the Alpha course TWICE in my lifetime and watching/hearing Nicky Gumbel, the Founder of the Alpha course, speak in these videos.. I couldn’t believe I had the opportunity to physically attend Nicky Gumbel’s church in London just a few weeks ago, see him in the flesh, and listen to him preach his last sermon as vicar at his long term church, Holy Trinity Brompton. Amazing and surreal experience! Will blog all about it soon 🙂
