On our way to West Wales, we stopped by the beautiful city of Bath, the largest city in the county of Somerset, England, known for and named after its Roman-built baths. It is also where many of the scenes from the Netflix hit series, Bridgerton, was filmed! This city is historically rich and we visited the Bath Abbey and went on the Tower Tour, what a great tour it was!! Our guides were so friendly and engaging, and it was a small group of 10 people and we took our time. Great value too at £10 per adult and £5 per child. Highly recommended. Such a huge contrast to the busy and overpriced, overcrowded places we’ve visited in London. We climbed up 212 steps to the top of the abbey and were treated to amazing views of the city. We were also behind the scenes and inside the bell tower and clock tower.
