The Fullerton Hotel, Singapore (and THE MOST EPIC Sunday Brunch!)

2–3 minutes

I checked into The Fullerton Hotel Singapore for two nights in July 2026. Just a bit fancier than my usual accommodation choices! It will be hard to NOT splurge on an exceptional hotel from now on… thoroughly spoilt. From the moment we walked into that grand atrium, I knew this stay was going to be special.

Checking in

The room was calm and elegant, and yes, the bathroom was stocked with Diptyque. Then there was the phone. I thought this old rotary phone was just a prop, so I picked it up, and it rang straight through with “Good evening, Fullerton Express, this is Jessie, how may I help you?” Sorry Jessie, I didn’t realise the phone actually works. I don’t need anything, hehe!

The Cat Art Exhibition

So cute! Why is everything in Singapore so aesthetic and cute? I really enjoyed the Fullerton cat art exhibition in the hotel lobby. There were grumpy cats sipping kopi, playing football and tucking into hawker food, and the one happily munching on kueh is my favourite!

By the pool

I had a nice dip in the pool and even took a nap, while the hotel staff went around offering snacks and drinks. This is the life! The pool sits right beside those grand columns and looks out over the river, the bridges and the city. This place is a vibe, so here are lots of vibey shots, right through to Marina Bay all lit up at night.

I was back in the pool for my morning swim while @callumia was at the gym. Swimming laps with the river right there is such a treat.

Presents from Santa

I woke up from my afternoon nap to presents from Santa @ieatblog. Waaahhh! Our Fullerton experience will be extended to Cooriemungle with these smells. There was also plenty of time for hanging out and chillin’ with snacks, a vodka soda and a coffee while @ieatblog stress packed.

The most epic Sunday Brunch

And then there was the Sunday Brunch buffet at The Fullerton, which was the most epic! There was soooo much food… from a Sunday roast meal to Asian favourites, charcuterie selection, a seafood display piled with lobster, clams and mussels, plus fresh sushi and sashimi. The Singapore laksa was very tasty too, with a good broth.

All the desserts looked amazing! @ieatblog was so happy the ondeh ondeh cake was there, and I was super duper excited for the nonya kueh. The desserts were all EXCELLENT, and I’m not even a sweet tooth. The ondeh ondeh cake and the durian gula melaka were SO YUMMY. They also had Durian Cendol which was incredible. The durian gula melaka is my kinda shot!

The view while I stuffed my face was pretty special too. By the end I was absolutely defeated, completely stuffed and in need of a nap. So happy!

If you’re after a stay in Singapore that feels like a real treat, The Fullerton is it. Just make sure you leave room for brunch!
