Chinatown Nights and a Durian Crawl in Singapore

1–2 minutes

Wandering around Chinatown, the whole street smelled like heavenly durian. I will eat! It was 10.30pm and the streets were still buzzing, on a weeknight. I love Asia, hehe.

That first box of durian? Best $10 I’d spent so far.

Back in Chinatown

I love seeing the old buildings in Singapore. The colourful shophouses with their shutters and tiled roofs sit right alongside the shiny towers, and I could look at them all day. Of course, we were back in Chinatown for more durian!

The best of the best durian

@ieatblog got sold the best of the best durian, and they were truly delicious. Seriously. The Musang King was so fragrant, mildly bitter, and insanely sweet and creamy. @ieatblog reckoned it was even tastier than the durian in Kota Kinabalu!

Durian round three

Time for durian round three! This place was AMAZING. We had the Blackgold Musang King and it was delicious, my favourite out of all the durians I’d had over those two days.

Are you team durian or team no thank you? I know which side I’m on!
