Coffee has become a huge part of our Aussie lifestyle and culture. It’s not just about getting a caffeine fix anymore, we have become a lot pickier and know a truly great cup of coffee when we see, smell and taste one. A lot of cafes pride themselves with serving award winning coffee and baristas are trained to make only the best coffee for their customers.
Coffee has become so crucial, a lot of people now have their own coffee machine at home. It truly is a luxury to be able to make and enjoy a freshly brewed cup of cappuccino from home. I love my coffee. Once you’ve spoilt yourself with a real cup of coffee with smooth, creamy and frothy milk you will never go back to those days of instant coffee with cold milk.
DEVONDALE Barista’s Own Frothing Milk is specially selected to deliver a consistent smooth creamy froth to your favourite style of coffee at home. It truly creates a more authentic coffee experience so you can enjoy great tasting frothed coffee at home, anytime. It is 39% less fat than full cream milk yet it delivers the same creamy taste! I know, because I have tried it myself and made two cups of coffee – one with Devondale Barista’s Own Frothing Milk and another with fresh full cream milk. They taste pretty similar and I would happily drink either one any day!
The best thing about Barista’s Own is that even though it is a shelf product, it delivers the same smoothness and consistency fresh milk offers. Plus, it is always handy to keep some of these cartons in the pantry without worrying about it expiring in the next few days or (gasp!) that you’ve run out of milk! (Don’t you just find that the day you so desperately need a good cup of coffee that’s when something like that happens?)
Devondale Barista’s Own is made to heat differently from other LLM (Long Life Milk) and fridge milk; this is so that it froths better. Most importantly, it does NOT have a “funny” taste to it. Coffee lovers who have a home coffee machine will find that it enhances the taste of their coffees and gives you just the right amount of creaminess and frothiness.

I fell in love with coffee at Haddon's Cafe in Swinburne's Hawthorn Campus. There was a barista there who always remembered your name, and made the tastiest coffee. I no longer frequent Swinburne, and sources say he has left Haddon's anyway. I always wondered how one can make good or bad coffee, after all it's just a push of a button. Is this the secret?

Quite often on a Sunday morning I have run out of milk from the weeks use, with a new baby and a husband who does not appreciate the value of a “good” coffee, having Devondale Barista’s Own milk in the cupboard would save me a last minute trip to the shops for my sanity hit!

When it froths as it promised it would, not only does it add that extra zing to my caffein fix and energy boost for a stroll at the sunday markets, but it also leaves a tastie milky mustache on our upper lips that gives me and my wife a much needed heartie laugh. Is there any other better start to a lazy Sunday? :-)Hattem Zarif – hattemz@hotmail.com

Sunday mornings are meant for lazy brunches, big sleep ins and nice warm cuddles with the hubby. My Sunday mornings are impossibly interrupted by loud screeching and yells for Mummy! Followed by Mama come here!! No more cuddles, no more drifting dreams but stumbles out of bed with dishevelled hair and morning breathe in order to get to my toddler. Having Devondale's Barista Own will not help just me but my husband calm the sleepy Sunday dragon aka ME!Sarah Ooi sass.ooi@gmail.com

Ok so i wake up on Sunday late like usual. Its a glorious lazy stretchy type of day, but i immediately notice that my partner is not in his bed! I get up and go to the kitchen there I find a freshly brewed pipping hot coffee, and somehow in the foam it says turn around. I do so and there he is with a brought egg and bacon sandwich and a chocolate muffin. That is probably the best way to start a Sunday 🙂 That and actually drinking the coffee. From Jen Issa

Unfortunately there are no lazy Sunday mornings in my household, as we always sleep in and it's a rush to get ready in time for church. Devondale Barista's Own would be the perfect finishing touch for my chai latte, that gives me the perkiness to lead the service and music, and pay attention to sermons!
