That is why I have purchased Jamie’s cookbook and hoping to be inspired to try new dishes that are delicious, healthy, and especially simple, easy and quick to make.  I will be reviewing his recipes and sharing with all of you 1) How easy is it to make yourself at home aka did it really take 15-minutes give or take? 2) How commonly sourced … Continue reading Jamie Oliver’s 15-Minutes, 15 Recipes, 15-Week Challenge

Unleash the Magic with Ice Magic

Disclaimer: This blog post is Sponsored By Nuffnang but the opinions are entirely mine! Growing up, I have always LOVED an ice cream sundae with a hard chocolate coating. That is why Ice Magic has always been my favorite ice cream topping because it sets and hardens so quickly and it is so yummy and it comes in different flavours! That is why when Nuffnang approached me with this idea of a Sponsored Post I didn’t even need to think twice. It always helps when I can write about a product I have tried myself and genuinely love 🙂 A … Continue reading Unleash the Magic with Ice Magic

I have not forgotten to blog… :)

Hello people! I don’t really know how many of you out there are actual regular readers of my blog… but if you are, thank you! I don’t think I have blogged in the past two weeks.. oh wait, let me check my last post, yess.. June 13 and it’s now July 1 so yes, I have slacked big time. I’m on Holidays!

Ok well, not yet but I will be in exactly 40 minutes from now! I am off for a 12-day extended Easter holidays in which during this time my parents (and my cousin and her fiancee) will be arriving in Melbourne tomorrow morning and we’ll be doing a lot of sight-seeing together and a lot of photography! Also on Easter Monday we are off for a 4-day roadtrip via the country to Sydney! We will be stopping at various towns along the way including spending the night at Hay and Blue Mountains before actually spending a day in Sydney. Quite … Continue reading I’m on Holidays!

Crispy Pork Belly, New Rangehood & Amazing Eats

I finally get my kitchen back!! I finally get my kitchen back!! Hubby took almost a week to finish up his rangehood installation project. Our kitchen was in a complete mess for most of this week, and whilst I was lovin’ eating out, after a while you just want to be able to cook whatever you feel like eating, you know what I mean? Funny enough, I know I have my kitchen back but first thing on my To Eat list was nothing fancy or time consuming despite my slight feeling of being deprived of cooking. On the contrary, I … Continue reading Crispy Pork Belly, New Rangehood & Amazing Eats

Happy 1st Birthday to Kimba’s Kitchen!

Hey everyone, guess what! My blog aka Kimba’s Kitchen turns 1 today!! And no.. this is no April Fool’s joke. My blog was actually set up exactly one year ago! I can hardly believe that my blog is only one year old, I feel like I’ve been doing this a long time, yet I also feel like a baby compared to so many amazing food bloggers out there – but thanks to your support and continuous encouragement, what started as a personal blog to document a collection of favorite recipes turned into this huge thing for me with unexpected overwhelming … Continue reading Happy 1st Birthday to Kimba’s Kitchen!

Scoopon’s Pay $40 for $110 worth of food and cocktails @ Appetizer Thai

I went out on a Girl’s Night last night with a couple of girls and decided to use the recent Scoopon purchase – I paid $40 for the voucher, which entitled us to $110 worth of food and drinks at Appetizer Thai @ 285 Spring St, Melbourne CBD. Prior to purchasing this Scoopon, I’ve never even heard of Appetizer Thai! BUT according to Jeroxie, who recently blogged about Appetizer Thai – she has always known of this place and have been almost selfish to keep it secret, lol. Read her blog post – she sums it all up for me … Continue reading Scoopon’s Pay $40 for $110 worth of food and cocktails @ Appetizer Thai

How much "value for money" are you really getting from Group Buying Sites?

I used to think eBay was my biggest online shopping temptation. Not anymore. For me, I think it all started when Catch of The Day introduced the concept of daily deals. I believe the idea is to heavily discount one item and put it out there on the internet “on sale” for 24 hours. Basically, although the profit per item is close to none – when thousands of people buy the same item on the same day, it becomes a win-win situation. Distributors are happy to sell overstocked items and consumers are happy to buy cheap. However, an extension of daily … Continue reading How much "value for money" are you really getting from Group Buying Sites?
